THE PRIMARY NOTES

Saturday the 30th of November Dani went to see this very unusual installation/performance at The Legion TV in Hagerstown, Frederick Terrace.
This piece of art is the outcome of an on-going dialogue between musician Gwilym Gold, producer Lexxx and artist Colin Henderson.
When she got there at around 7.15pm there were not so many people.
Pianist Gwilyn Gold was already playing. The floor was covered by white and black sand in a motif that reminded her of those 60th tiled floor. Dani sat down to listen to the music and touching the sand she imagined the sea all around with the Primary notes floating in the space.
Suddenly the room was packed with people and she had to stand up. She couldn’t really sea the pianist anymore but at this point the only really important element were the Notes.
Overwhelmed by them she moved to different pastures and felt every single Primary note caressing her soul.
