I gathered the gorgeous hat together with some objects and a marvellous Fashion book i picked up at some stalls at South Bank last Tuesday and took some pics!!

  1. When Miss Rock got back home i asked her some informations about my new dear friend: THE HAT!
MATERIAL USED: Net knitted cap (base)
INTERIOR: Silk red ribbon from this funtastic store VV ROULEAUX (
    DOVE’S FEATHERS from Soho market
RED/ORANGE DYE from Winch and Blatch habyaashery Dept
Created in Sudbury , Suffolk, Autumn 2009

The inspiration comes from the autumn English countryside.
It reminds my darlingggg Miss Rock of the colours of her childhood. Her grandMa was a wonderful seamstress and a woman of many talents ( now i understand how come Miss Rock is so freaking rock!!).
She wanted to recreate the hat she made in the seventies with lace which is vivid in her memory. Miss Rock chosen to use feathers instead because for her they represent freedom, seduction and irony!
They make a BOLD statement. Precisely like you Miss Rock!
    Love yaaaaaaaaaaaaa!!!!!!!
